These swaps are so much fun! Tina Holden is our host and she is the best! I was always wondering about these swaps but was afraid to join . I didn't think I was good enough ,that my art work was par-standard, but I decided to jump right in ! The ladies were very welcoming and encouraged me along the way. My husband was also very supportive and helped me so much with my projects and always making sure I had everything I needed and even helped me when I got stuck and my muse went on a walk-about! In fact, this last swap he came up with the idea of making snowmen ornaments! These are my snowmen and my snowflake twenchie's. In case you're wondering what a to twenchi is well it's a 2" x 2" in canvas made entirely out of clay, clayers use them to trade and to express themselves artistically.

International Polymer Clay Swaps!

This is a polymer clay ornament and twenchi that I was given by my swap partner Laurel Stevens. We were in a swap I think it's the 7th one, for me since I've joined is my 3rd swap!

Giving Thank's

Wow ! The holidays just came in like a whirlwind! What the heck !? I got through a birthday and Halloween and Thanksgiving was a wonderful day of eating and watching holiday movies with my hubby!
I had a really nice time , my son also spent Thanksgiving with us and my step-daughter Kaylynn communicated with me! It's a long story but it really made my day!

So I am grateful for many things this year, for my wonderful husband who is so patient and understanding, for my son who I pray that his life will turn around for him pretty soon and he can start a new chapter. For my step daughter may she continue to find it in her heart every day to forgive me my past transgressions so we can be a family again once more. I miss you very , very much! So lord thank you for my family near and far, for my friends and I pray that they too find peace and happiness this holiday season!

Organically Pretty

This are made of polymer clay, vintage Czech glass and peanut seed beads. I was wanting to make something with a little more antique feel. The color of clay is done with mica powders, and the Czech glass has a smooth translucency with just a hint of green. I'm very pleased with the way they turned out. I think I'm going to experiment more with this and see where it leads me.
Have a great weekend and happy claying as always!!

Summer Time Delights

I have a neighbor who has a pretty little garden and I noticed this hibiscus bush. I had to snap a pic of this beautiful flower! I'm thinking something in polymer. What do you think?

Inspiration

These earrings were made because of one of my favorite artist Rebecca of Songbeads. She is an amazing jewelry artist from the UK. She also has an Etsy store where she sells alot of beautiful Czech glass beads where I have shopped as well. Thank you, Rebecca
