I want to Thank Alpha Stamp's again for the wonderful package of goodie's ! I am enjoying myself so much and will post pictures of my finished project when it is complete. I have waited 5 year's to win one of their contest and I sure hope I win again if not I am going to have to save my pennies and get my list ready because shopping at Alpha Stamp's is addicting. Laura Carson is one of their design team members and you have to join her blog she is amazing , to many to name right now but will ay the whole team is out-standing in their work and skills and all have beautiful blog's. I found out that I can step away from my clay and work with paper which was my first love and it helps to switch around from time to time and try different type's of art and for me paper and clay go along real well together!

I hope all of you are having some fun -filled artsy adventure's and I do want to encourage you to try different mediums and spread your wing's!! I just entered another contest provided by Art Jewlery Elements, hosted by the wonderful artist Melissa Meman she is an awesome mixed -media artist and I love her work so I am hoping to win a couple of her copper component's and join her and some other talented ladies in her blog hop. So if you haven't anything to do check out some of these website's you may find yourself opening up a whole new avenue of artsy fun to explore and have fun with!
Till next time, may your hand's always be stained with ink, your art table filled with projects and your heart free to fly !!! Peace & Love ,
I am one happy girl ! One of my favorite artist who is a member of The Art Bead Scene, Ms. Mary Harding sent me an email on January 5th telling me I was the winner of that months contest which they have pretty often. But I wasn't expecting to win so I had forgotten about it. I entered because I love Ms. Harding's art beads and components and since I only just got back to work I was not able to afford some of her piece's so I took a chance and I WON !! here are a few pictures of two of her ceramic heart charms and a brand new design line for Ms. Harding her soldered stamped toggle !

Mitzie sent me a piece that I can't remember who designed it , I really wanted to use this piece and I wanted to make it into a bracelet . It reminds me of something you might pick up on a trip to some faraway exotic place. Well this is the end of my bead soup reveal I hope you enjoy what you see here and hope you leave a comment for me! Maybe I will see you in the next one. Many Thanks' to Lori and hope you are doing well. This was a wonderful experience for me and I Thank You for including me.

I chose these brass bird stampings with some other brass stampings I had in my stash along with some pretty blue Czech glass beads with the ear wires provided by my partner. I thought th. They came out very nice and I can't wait to wear them! They remind me of spring!
Nothing like running under the gun! But I did it and now I am finally ready to show the world my bead soup pieces I received from the very talented Mitzie Crider of Needfulluxuries, I was really puzzled about this soup so it took me a while to be able to conceive a piece that I could be happy about displaying. Here is the 1st piece , I used fresh water pearls and wire wrapped each one along with some very soft pink Czech glass beads that were perfect with this necklace . In my mind, the Eiffel Tower which is my focal from Mitzie just screamed PINK!! As everyone knows Paris is romantic and that's how I came up with my version which I call Romance.
Pretty sweet! Only I am stuck on where to start! My muse is on a walk about I fear as, my sisternlaw had knee surgery yesterday so apart from playing Nurse Hatchett and running the household, errands ect.... I am trying to find my creative mojo! For the love of God! I have had my moments where you know you get a wee bit stuck and I will clean up my work station or mix up some skinner blends that will usually do the trick for me...but did I mention that my clay and pasta machine are still packed away?! Yes, dearies and it's so sad because I have missed them so very badly!! But fear not, we are getting ready to move into the new house very shortly!! So be of good cheer! And if anyone should see a lonely muse walking around aimlessly with far away eye's please tell her to go home straight away! She is missed!!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17341512692799564419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6290910182293120845.post-69539317508604816412014-03-04T20:15:00.002-08:002014-03-04T20:15:56.902-08:00Bead Soup Blog Party Begins!!<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">OK!
But , I can tell you that I can truly appreciate all her time and effort especially while she is waging her own personal battle with her health. She is truly a remarkable lady and I want to "Thank You so very much! " This is going to be a wonderful journey for me.
I was so excited about this I wanted to share with everyone! In September Carmi Cimicata announced that she was having a project involving these great watch faces that she ask people to decorate them with resin or art resin clay. Well I just thought for sure I wouldn't be chosen well! I WAS!!! We had to art them up and of course since I love resin I just had to jump on board. We had to have them finished before November 28th and get them mailed back to her as she is going to pick the best ones and bring them to California to the biggest Craft show in the country. The Craft and Hobby Association will be held in Pasadena California in January and I am so excited about this!

I am hoping that my watch face will be picked I am going to post a picture of it here and you let me know what you think! I think it turned out so very cool but there are some really amazing artist out there ! So drum roll please!!!!!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17341512692799564419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6290910182293120845.post-67549381295500024162014-02-17T18:57:00.000-08:002014-02-17T18:57:41.309-08:008th Bead Soup Blog Party !!!!!!

I had to post this to my blog! I so love this lady's work! Aren't these bunnies just the cutest little beads?!?!? I could so make a bracelet with one of those! Anyways, I hope I win! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17341512692799564419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6290910182293120845.post-48170959628366973332013-12-01T18:39:00.002-08:002013-12-01T18:44:15.717-08:00These swaps are so much fun! Tina Holden is our host and she is the best! I was always wondering about these swaps but was afraid to join . I didn't think I was good enough ,that my art work was par-standard, but I decided to jump right in ! The ladies were very welcoming and encouraged me along the way. My husband was also very supportive and helped me so much with my projects and always making sure I had everything I needed and even helped me when I got stuck and my muse went on a walk-about! In fact, this last swap he came up with the idea of making snowmen ornaments! These are my snowmen and my snowflake twenchie's. In case you're wondering what a to twenchi is well it's a 2" x 2" in canvas made entirely out of clay, clayers use them to trade and to express themselves artistically.
I had a really nice time , my son also spent Thanksgiving with us and my step-daughter Kaylynn communicated with me! It's a long story but it really made my day!

So I am grateful for many things this year, for my wonderful husband who is so patient and understanding, for my son who I pray that his life will turn around for him pretty soon and he can start a new chapter. For my step daughter may she continue to find it in her heart every day to forgive me my past transgressions so we can be a family again once more. I miss you very , very much! So lord thank you for my family near and far, for my friends and I pray that they too find peace and happiness this holiday season! Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17341512692799564419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6290910182293120845.post-75186646203889286542013-08-03T11:15:00.001-07:002013-08-03T11:15:08.965-07:00Organically Pretty
This are made of polymer clay, vintage Czech glass and peanut seed beads. I was wanting to make something with a little more antique feel. The color of clay is done with mica powders, and the Czech glass has a smooth translucency with just a hint of green. I'm very pleased with the way they turned out. I think I'm going to experiment more with this and see where it leads me.
Have a great weekend and happy claying as always!!

What I do have to share tonight is my blessings and how grateful I am for what I have and the people in my life.
Isn't that what it's really about ? The people in Moore , Oklahoma are thinking the same things right now too I'm sure and a whole lot more. Tonight before I close my eyes and drift off to sleep I'm going to ask God to watch over all the people back east right now . And I am going to pray that they get the help they need in time. I'm not going to ask for anything for myself I am going to ask God to protect them all back there and that everyone in the USA reaches out to all those back east who don't have a place to lay their heads and help those who need help right now. In Jesus ,name I pray , Amen and God Bless to All !Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17341512692799564419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6290910182293120845.post-67746057584769223202013-05-11T22:26:00.000-07:002013-05-11T22:26:23.845-07:00Finally It's Done !

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I know it's been a little bit since I've blogged but life gets in the way and I had a couple of projects I was involved with but I had to show this little beauty! I picked it up in an antique shop where I live for $1.00 ! I am going to post the after picture of what I did to it tomorrow. I tried to post last night but Blogger was having a fit and I was unable to post , or save NOTHING ! I was so aggravated that I gave up . So I am hoping this goes well today ! I will tell you that I used Tim Holts Vagabond with his Tattered Flowers Die and some hand-made resin pieces that were suppose to be earrings ! I turned them into charms.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">My sweet hubby gave me the idea! How cool is that !? Ok! so look for the new pic's tomorrow I still have a lot to learn about taking pictures and this blogging stuff is still very new to me but I'll get there!
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Have a great week-end and make something !!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17341512692799564419noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6290910182293120845.post-64539964115264138682013-04-19T20:48:00.000-07:002013-04-21T09:50:06.356-07:00

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Well about 2 months ago I mentioned a vintage suitcase I had found at our local antique store . This is the before and I am going to post the after tomorrow. I completely altered this suitcase and I think it's way cool !
I was planning on using it to display my jewelry when I attended 1st Friday's and it turned out better then I expected! I can't wait to show you the after pictures. I used my Vagabond, by Tim Holtz and used his Tattered Flowers Die ,that's all I am going to say about that ,you're going to have to wait until tomorrow!

I know it's been a little bit since I've posted and I have really wanted to but life got in the way! I really need to make a stronger commitment to creating every day, but alas, I have a full time job and the house has to get clean right??

Anyways, I am really going to buckle down and fly right! Besides, I still have so much more to learn about blogging ! It's really so much fun !!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17341512692799564419noreply@blogger.com0
